Town Planner
Habitat Planning are seeking a town planner to join our team for an immediate start. Ideally, we are seeking a
recent graduate or student nearing completion of tertiary studies in town planning, however will also consider
more experienced candidates.
The position is offered on a full-time basis and involves a broad range of statutory and strategic planning functions for both
the public and private sectors.
Professional duties of the Town Planner position include assisting the Principal Planner in:
Statutory and strategic planning for Councils
Preparation of Environmental Impact Statements
Preparation of Development Applications/Statement of Environmental Effects
Preparation of Planning Permit Applications
Planning Scheme/Local Environmental Plan amendments
Objections and submissions to development
Planning research and reports
Planning and development advice
Other planning tasks as directed
